Funeral Flowers?

My Great Uncle just passed away (my mom%26#039;s uncle). We are not sure which flowers would be appropriate to send to the family for the funeral.

What colors?

What kind?

Thanks for anyone%26#039;s help.

We are willing to spend up to $100 or so.

Funeral Flowers?
Honestly, there are problably going to be plenty of real flowers there so I would advise getting something artificial. I received a beautiful artificial bouquet of flowers at my mother%26#039;s funeral and it%26#039;s the only thing I still have from it (except the typical papers, etc.) I thanked the family who thought of getting something I could keep. I had to go thru enough with my mom dieing, I didn%26#039;t like watching so many other things around me die shortly afterward. I hope this helps!!
Reply:Since he is family, you should send something on a stand I would think, though if you want something for the family to take home then you are looking at planters or individual plants, but you do need to know whether or not they will have room for large plants in their homes. I would talk to your local florist and ask for a standing spray and ask if $100 will get you something nice. Here in our flower shop it would get you a nice spray, but in certain areas and certain shops they might need more money. Ours start at $65, so $100 is pretty nice. I would leave the flower choices up to the designers, but if you have color preferences, definitely let them know.
Reply:Champagne Roses are nice. They have a soft scent. The colour is a creamy colour. Lisianthus is another nice one - they are either violet, white or pink. They will last for weeks. They are commonly called the dessert rose because of the fact they last so long.

My mother is a floralartist.
Reply:If you call a florist, ask if they have a sympathy bouquet, they usually have several to choose from.

I decided to send a friend of mine something cheerful instead. The bouquet really stood out and they liked them the best.
Reply:Sorry to hear about your loss hun, and funeral arrangements can be a tough choice, but i suggest visiting my mom%26#039;s flower shop website.

Reply:Normally if you go to a florist they can help you. Some websites might even have an arrangement for such an occasion.

Sorry for your lost.
Reply:Send the decesed favorite flowers, or just a darker colored flower, like purple tulips, or a dozen red roses, something that shows you care. Sorry about your loss
Reply:Sorry for your loss. Go to a good florist they will give suggestions of what to do with the money you want to spend to show how much your great uncle was loved by all.
